With the Neco and RD series, Nabtesco offers plug-and-play precision gear units in cycloidal design with maximum performance and economy. The compact servo gearboxes are ready for operation within a very short time and are therefore an ideal solution for automation in machine and plant construction.

Plug-and-play gearboxes are ready-to-install solutions that can be used immediately without much effort. Installation requires only a few steps, integration is quick and handling is particularly intuitive. Plug-and-play gearboxes save time and money and facilitate automation. High-performance plug-and-play gearboxes for automation

The Neco and RD series combine excellent performance and high efficiency with maximum user-friendliness. The innovative plug-and-play solutions achieve high precision with a hysteresis loss of 0.5 to max. 1 arc.min and are extremely robust thanks to shock resistance of up to 500 % of the nominal torque. The two-stage reduction principle of the cycloidal gearheads leads to excellent behaviour in terms of dynamics and smooth running as well as high repeatability and path accuracy, making the compact servo gearheads the ideal choice for automated processes - be it precise positioning, flexible handling and machining tasks or dynamic pick-and-place applications.

Neco: high degree of modularity and standardisation

The Neco series includes servo gearheads in a modern, clean design as well as robust high-torque gearheads for heavy-duty applications (HT). The modular gearhead design is characteristic. By combining standardised elements, a large number of defined interfaces can be created without much effort, covering a wide range of drives. This enables economical series production and ensures high availability.

RD series: Three mounting variants for maximum flexibility

The RD series is available as a hollow shaft (RD-C) and as a solid shaft (RD-E). Three variants (direct, right-angled, with belt drive) allow numerous application options, e.g. in the choice of servo motor. The generously dimensioned hollow shaft of the RD-C gearboxes allows cables and hoses - for example data and supply lines as well as drive shafts - to be fed through the centre of the cycloidal gearbox easily and in a space-saving manner.

Raising efficiency potentials

Thanks to their special design, Nabtesco's plug-and-play gearheads are significantly more precise, dynamic and rigid than the rotary tables and worm and standard planetary gearheads commonly used - and thus make a significant contribution to increasing performance, reducing costs and making work easier. They can be operated with all common servo motors, are completely encapsulated, always filled with lubricant and have a built-in adapter plate for the motor as well as a motor shaft coupling for servo motors. Together with the customer, Nabtesco develops custom-fit drive solutions that are perfectly adapted to the task at hand.
