Awarded for IoT gateways

IoTmaxx has received the BSFZ seal for its R&D activities relating to its gateways. This means that the start-up from Hanover has been officially recognized by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research as a company that conducts research and development in Germany and is also allowed to use the research allowance.

"The confirmation by the BSFZ seal underlines our innovation competence and shows that our research and development work is actively shaping the technological future," emphasizes Christian Lelonek, Managing Director at IoTmaxx. "For us, however, the seal is not just an award, but also a confirmation that we are on the right track with the continuous search for innovative technological solutions for our customers."

Development based on customer needs

The company is currently researching technical innovations for its gateways manufactured in Germany with its partner and customer network in order to make the IoT quickly and easily usable for a wide range of applications. IoTmaxx develops its programmable Linux gateways based on the customer's needs and supports them with comprehensive service and support. The open source approach offers the possibility of using your own software independently in an encapsulated Docker environment. The industrially safe, very compact gateway takes up only 5 cm on the DIN rail and, with its variety of protocols and interfaces, covers various application areas in a temperature range from - 25 to + 70 °C.

Variety of interfaces and secure data transmission

The LTE mobile gateways from IoTmaxx allow quick integration and offer various network configuration options. They are equipped with various protocol converters and provide connection options for a wide range of sensors and communication interfaces such as Ethernet, USB, RS-232, RS-485, CAN bus and 1-Wire. The maxx GW4101 with sensor board extension offers additional interfaces such as the galvanically isolated RS485, 4-20 mA, digital inputs and outputs and RTD.

All models enable secure and reliable data transmission. By using VPN technologies such as WireGuard, an integrated firewall and the optional security chip, they are optimally protected against external access. The mobile radio module with integrated GPS tracking enables the location of the respective system to be identified - suitable antennas are available as accessories from IoTmaxx.
