Certified functional safety

The NexSafe servo motor brakes offer bidirectional braking functions and are Industry 4.0 compatible. The entire NexSafe range of servo brakes is certified for functional safety according to the international safety standard ISO 13849-1. With Nexsafe products in the recommended configuration, category levels (CAT) up to 4 and performance levels up to e can be achieved.

The servo motor brakes have multiple locking springs and an integrated clamping ring with locking grooves. Up to three operating mode sensors for feedback ensure emergency stop, holding and positioning reliably and safely. The sensors provide feedback and information to maximize machine efficiency and help with motor and drive programming, predictive maintenance and operational feedback.
