RK Rose+Krieger is now offering covers for assembly-related transitions for its stainless steel assembly system (EMS). The components perfectly complement the EMS and offer additional protection. They are also easy to assemble and suitable for use in areas close to food and in clean rooms.

The EMS from RK Rose+Krieger was successfully launched just over a year ago. The assembly system includes stainless steel connecting elements with which square or round tubes of the standard size 40 can be easily assembled into frame structures - that is, without specialist knowledge and with just one tool. A special clamping connector made of cast stainless steel is pushed into the tube and connecting element and firmly clamped in the tube by tightening two screws. This makes welding the tubes unnecessary.

More protection thanks to easy-to-install cover

Due to assembly, a visible transition remains between the tube and connecting element, through which the clamping connector and its screw hole can be seen. The company developed its new covers to protect this area from coarse dirt. A suitably shaped cover is available for each of the EMS connecting elements. Each consists of two parts that can be easily assembled by hand using a clip around the corresponding clamping connector without the need for tools. The ergonomic design offers not only greater protection but also an optimized feel at the connection points and enhances them visually.

Thanks to their specific construction, the covers are secured both axially and against twisting after they have been attached. Their design makes it possible for them to be not only easy to assemble, but also easy to disassemble. If they become damaged, they can be easily replaced.

Application-specific adjustments possible

The covers are made of light gray polyamide. Like the EMS with its corrosion-protected stainless steel parts, they are therefore suitable for installations in clean rooms, for filling, packaging and conveyor systems in the food industry and for all areas at risk of corrosion. Production from other materials or in other colors is possible on request. RK Rose+Krieger advises its customers on application-specific implementation.
