Profile rail guide
Optimized lubrication, better sealing, more precision
Rodriguez now offers its BRXH series profile rail guides in an optimized version. The update encompasses three key features: an enhanced lubrication concept, a new sealing system, and increased accuracy. This makes processes even more reliable while maintaining system compatibility.
With these updates to its BRXH profile rail guides, Rodriguez is responding to the increased demands of mechanical engineering and automation. The fundamental technical specifications remain unchanged, while targeted optimizations enhance process reliability and ensure longer service life and reproducible precision.
More Lubrication Points for Consistent Lubrication
The guide carriages now feature additional lubrication points, which improve and distribute the lubricant more evenly within the ball screw unit. The systems continue to be delivered pre-lubricated. For top lubrication, an adapter ensures targeted distribution within the carriage.
New Sealing Concept for Demanding Environments
A key element of the redesign is the new sealing system. Standard features include end-face double-lip seals and double-lip longitudinal seals, which effectively protect against particles and contaminants. Additional options are available: non-contact seals, additional contact seals, and metal wipers.
Higher Accuracy Becomes Standard
The previous standard accuracy class N is discontinued. Class H is now the new standard. Height and width tolerances have been reduced by approximately 50 percent compared to the previous N version. Accuracy class P will only be available upon request. The preload class Z2 has been discontinued; Z0, Z1, and Z3 remain available. Specifically, this means higher repeatability—particularly relevant in robotics and automation—and improved parallelism, meaning multiple guideways run more smoothly and in parallel.
Further Design Improvements
- The number of ground carriage surfaces has been increased from two to three. End caps for the rails are available in plastic or, optionally, brass.
- Proven properties are retained.
- Four rows of balls in an X-arrangement with a 45° pressure angle for load bearing in all main directions.
- Variants A, B, AL, BL, BS, and versions with and without flanges.
- Existing coatings remain available.
- Metal cover strip can be used.
- Individual rail lengths up to 3,900 mm.
- Interchangeability within a single accuracy and preload class.
