Keysight Technologies announced the launch of System Designer for USB, its latest solution for high-speed digital USB (Universal Serial Bus) design tailored for PCs, mobile devices, and edge AI applications. As an intelligent design environment, System Designer for USB enables comprehensive modeling and simulation of systems compliant with the latest USB4 standard. This advanced system-level approach enables system-level validation, streamlining the path to product maturity.

As PCs and mobile devices demand ever-increasing amounts of data, ensuring reliable communication between USB interfaces is essential for efficient data transfer. The industry is responding to this challenge with the introduction of the USB4 specification, which offers speeds up to 120 Gbps and uses three-level pulse amplitude modulation (PAM3), all within the same USB-C connector. By adopting these advanced standards and verifying USB4® interfaces for compliance, developers can effectively minimize costs and reduce the risks associated with redesigns.
