Yaskawa responds to the current changes in the automation industry with a compatible alternative that is available from stock: the 300S+ high-speed control system makes the existing control environment fit for the future without any problems.
With the 300S+ high-speed control system, Yaskawa opens up interesting perspectives, especially for the replacement of existing solutions. This is because IOs and accessories are fully compatible with the previously market-dominating system. All hardware components can thus be exchanged 1:1 and used in parallel in mixed operation. The CPUs can also be used largely unchanged, so that the existing software can remain in place. Yaskawa provides special support for the corresponding adaptations in the CPUs.
Users, as well as machine builders and maintenance personnel, benefit from long-term investment security with the 300S+ control system in another respect: Yaskawa grants a warranty period of 36 months not only for the new components, but also for the entire extended control system. As a further advantage, all components are available directly from stock and will be available until at least 2030. Contributing to this high delivery performance is the fact that the integrated microchips are based on Yaskawa's own technology.
Proven high-speed system
Yaskawa's high-speed 300S+ control system has proven itself in countless machines worldwide over the past 20 years or so and has been continuously developed. In the current version, it is around ten times faster than comparable systems. The PLC CPUs offer a significantly higher memory size of up to 8 MB (fully retentive) as well as more additional benefits than previous models, and at a lower price. Up to 32 expansion modules are possible per station.
Particular flexibility in use and application is ensured, for example, by matching front connectors for the integrated I/O channels and the possibility of using commercially available SD cards as external storage media. In addition, the system meets high demands for clever memory management, data security and comprehensive communication capability via contemporary protocols, for example, through an integrated Ethernet connection and a high variety of supported buses.
