Flexible configuration of axle continuous current

Sigmatek's MDD 2000 multi-axis servo drives offer maximum flexibility in operation. If the 3-axis drive has different loads on the individual axes due to the machine application, the continuous axis currents can be customized by simply parameterizing them.

To do this, the user defines the permissible continuous axis current taking into account the total power loss. The specified continuous current is limited by the maximum possible peak current. When the axes are "enabled" via software, the converter checks the configured values for their validity. This software-based overload axis programming option ensures a high level of variance, optimal utilization within the multi-axis network and thus the highest possible cost-effectiveness.

A large selection of ready-made motion modules is available in the drive library of the Lasal engineering tool. This makes it easy to implement motion control tasks.
