The brushless motor BG 42 from Dunkermotoren, a brand of Ametek, has long been established in a wide range of applications and a wide variety of industries. Now the drive technology manufacturer is bringing another integrated controller onto the market.

The BG 42 dGo impresses with its high performance at a particularly affordable price. The full-fledged 4-quadrant controller can be parameterized ex works and is easy to control via its inputs. In addition, it exploits the full potential of the motor - regardless of the selected length and nominal voltage (BG 42x15 12V to BG 42x45 48V).

By integrating the controller into the motor housing and the optimized operating parameters, a particularly efficient drive can be configured that saves valuable energy and significantly extends the running time of battery-operated devices.

Thanks to configurable connections, the full functionality of the motor required in the application can be mapped with as few wires as possible. In the basic version, in addition to the power supply, only one analog input, one speed output and two digital inputs are required to exploit the full potential.

Protection class required? No problem! The new dGo controller can also be integrated into the robust BG45 version, which is equipped with hybrid connectors and is available up to IP65. In pump applications, for example, the new BG42 dGo controller enables precisely controlled speed and exact configuration of the required flow rate, which enormously improves the efficiency of such a system. But the torque limitation can also be set precisely for each application in a reproducible manner at the factory, which is required for milking robots or belt tension control in production systems, among other things. With the BG 42 dGo, Dunkermotoren offers a particularly economical drive concept that can be optimally configured for many applications.
