Designed for large machine parks

With the introduction of Ewon Cloud and Ewon Edge, HMS Networks is expanding its portfolio of remote connectivity solutions for industrial applications and offers scalable, secure connectivity for companies with a large machine park. The new solution combines HMS Networks' extensive know-how with a customer-oriented approach that enables companies to improve machine monitoring and maximize operational efficiency.

HMS Networks' Ewon product line is known for high reliability in remote access and data monitoring under industrial conditions. Ewon Cloud and Ewon Edge were developed to meet the requirements for the connectivity of large machine parks. It offers industrial users secure access to the machines and simplified authorization management, among other things.

Building on decades of industry knowledge, HMS engineers have developed Ewon Cloud and Edge with a forward-thinking approach that includes future growth as well as the ability to adapt to changing requirements.

How it works

As soon as an Ewon Edge device is installed, it automatically registers itself in the Ewon Cloud. It is then located in a virtual space in which an unlimited number of devices can be grouped. Using flexible access control, users can securely monitor and manage machine data - anytime, anywhere.

Sébastien Thinnes, Vice President Marketing of the IDS Division of HMS Networks: "With Ewon Cloud and Ewon Edge, we are living up to our claim 'hardware meets software'. The manufacturers and operators of machines that manage large fleets need a solution that is powerful, secure, flexible and capable of evolving. With more than 500,000 Ewon gateways connected worldwide, we are experts in this task and know the needs and expectations of the industry. This knowledge has led to our new solution and underlines our commitment to driving industrial connectivity forward."
