These are the new members of the Faulhaber GPT metal planetary gearhead family: 14GPT and 16GPT. The "smaller" models in the series are characterized by high torque with minimal volume and are ideal for demanding applications with limited installation space. They are extremely robust and tolerate frequent and sudden load changes. The gearheads operate with high efficiency and can be combined with a wide variety of motors.

The new sizes rely on the proven design principle of the GPT gearheads, which can reliably transmit extreme forces. This not only achieves higher torque but also enables a particularly short overall length – perfect for applications where space is of the essence. In addition, the optimized design allows for higher speeds of up to 24,000 rpm, allowing the entire motor speed range to be used efficiently. Extended reduction ratios contribute to improved thermal behavior and expand the gearhead's operating range. Thanks to the increased radial and axial load capacity, even larger loads can be handled without any problems.

Reliability and efficiency for a wide range of applications

To meet the demands of reliability and durability, the new GPT gearboxes are made entirely of hardened stainless steel. Welded component joints guarantee a robust and durable construction without the use of adhesives. This stable design ensures reliable power transmission even under extreme loads.

Thanks to their robust construction and high performance, the new 14 and 16 GPT gearboxes are perfectly suited for applications in robotics, laboratory automation, and medical diagnostics.
