Linear systems
Efficient, functional and economical linear technology systems
The linear technology solutions from Rollon offer a high level of performance and contribute significantly to efficiency gains and cost reductions in robotics and automation. The group will be demonstrating how this works in practice at automatica in Munich from 24 to 27 June 2025. It will be showcasing the TLS telescopic system, the AXNR oval system, the H-Bot gantry system and the latest model of the Cobot Transfer Unit (CTU). The exhibits are characterised by their innovative approach and are representative of Rollon's high level of system solution expertise.
The robotics and automation industry is developing rapidly and driving demand for linear drive systems that operate continuously and reliably even under demanding conditions. Rollon's solutions combine reliability, high performance and low maintenance, ensuring smooth and safe operation over a long period of time. They are designed for continuous use and ensure maximum precision and speed while increasing productivity and minimising downtime.
Experienced partner for process automation
Rollon is extremely knowledgeable in process automation. The group brings together the established brands Rollon, Nadella, Shuton-Ipiranga, Durbal, Chiavette Unificate and Rosa Sistemi under one roof, offering unique development, manufacturing and application expertise. This is also demonstrated by the exhibits Rollon is presenting at automatica 2025. Interested visitors will find the wide range of products, services and solutions in Hall B6, Stand 534.
Telescopic System TLS: Ideal for limited installation space
The TLS telescopic linear axis system was specially developed for automation in confined spaces. The 2- and 3-stage solutions achieve strokes of up to 3,000 mm and loads of up to 450 kg and are an ideal solution for applications where the axis travel exceeds the distance between the machine and the ceiling or wall. The use of cost-effective extruded aluminium profiles in combination with highly rigid recirculating ball guides and rack and pinion drives ensures optimum performance and high cost-effectiveness.
AXNR oval system for circular applications
The AXNR oval system from Nadella is a flexible and adaptable solution for circular applications. The round rail system is characterised by high load capacity, rigidity and precision, and delivers smooth, quiet movements and precise positioning. The base is connected directly to the gearbox, which reduces the space required. The modular design allows customer-specific modifications and special designs to be implemented within a very short time.
H-Bot gantry system: Precise handling for loads up to 10 kg
The H-Bot system consists of linear axes with toothed belt drives and recirculating ball guides and offers precision and reliability in a small space. The H-Bot features an innovative design with a single belt concept and dual motors on the X-axis, ensuring coordinated and precise movements in a very compact design. The absence of a motor on the Y-axis significantly reduces moving masses, which reduces vibrations and enables high dynamics.
Improved Cobot Transport Unit (CTU)
The new Cobot Transport Unit (CTU) has been developed to push the boundaries of collaborative robot applications. It offers a range of updates that simplify installation, maximise efficiency and improve flexibility. The turnkey system includes a linear axis, gearbox, motor, control cabinet and Rollon URCap software, and is an ideal solution for automation processes that require a greater reach. It supports the entire Universal Robots range, including UR20 and UR30.
