Whether in food production, the pharmaceutical industry, or electronics manufacturing, feeding systems are used in many industries. Kendrion supplies the right drive solution for every application. The electromagnetic oscillating systems in the Oscillating Line are manufactured using a special process. The use of baked enamel technology achieves a higher power density than comparable products.

Kendrion has been developing and manufacturing electromagnetic components for industrial companies around the world for over 100 years. With its electromagnetic oscillating systems, the company offers the optimal solution for the positionally accurate feeding of randomly stored parts and continuous material handling. The product range extends from individual excitation systems to complete linear conveyor systems with integrated springs and defined oscillation stroke, right through to electronic control units.

The Oscillating Line comprises a total of five product types: The range extends from oscillating magnets and throw vibrators to linear vibrators and arc vibrators, right through to electromagnetic shakers.

OAC oscillating magnets feature a very robust design and operate with absolute reliability even under harsh environmental conditions. Unlike conventional solutions, Kendrion's sheets are stacked and pressed into packages. Since the magnets are connected to each other only by a single grounding seam and baking varnish, eddy current losses and reactive power are significantly reduced. Laurence Setijoso, Market Segment Manager for Magnetic Technology, and Albert Münch, Market Manager for Automation, explain exactly how Kendrion's vibrating magnets and vibrators work in a short video on the Kendrion website on vibrating conveyor technology.

Kendrion's vibrating magnets are infinitely adjustable via the drive voltage and are available in many different sizes. The magnets drive spiral conveyors, vibrating tables, multihead weighers, particle analysis screens, and linear feeders, among other things. Unlike unbalanced drives, OAC vibration magnets deliver full power immediately after switching on – without start and stop effects. Kendrion's OMW series throw vibrators are suitable, for example, for container filling in the packaging and pharmaceutical industries and for dosing in particle feeding for measuring devices and analysis.

Linear vibrators from the OLV series are used for shaking bunkers and containers, but can also be used as pump/dosing drives. OAB curved vibrators are often used for the precise dosing of powders and granulates, but also as electromagnetic pump drives. OSR series vibrators are used to compact granulate mixtures or to agitate containers.

Kendrion offers its electromagnetic vibration systems in various voltages and frequencies. In addition, there are numerous coil variants designed for 24 V operation independent of the mains supply. This means that the vibration systems can be used worldwide without any adjustments.

For applications in the food and pharmaceutical industries, the vibration magnets can be provided with cathodic dip coating on request. “This makes them resistant to acids and prevents rust from forming,” says Albert Münch. All vibration systems can also be customized to customer specifications if required.
