Oriental Motor is launching two new brushless motors for food processing, packaging, and conveyor applications. The BL 750 W is characterized by its high wattage and energy efficiency, while the BL Stainless Steel 200 W boasts a very high degree of protection. Both motors seamlessly integrate into Oriental Motor's extensive portfolio of high-performance brushless motors.

The new BL 750 W and BL Stainless Steel 200 W brushless motors from Oriental Motor were specifically developed for use in the food processing, packaging, and conveyor industries. The BL 750 W impresses with its high wattage and highly energy-efficient operation (efficiency class IE5). It consumes less energy and produces lower CO2 emissions than comparable motors. Because the motor generates very little heat during operation, no active cooling by a fan is required.

Weighing just 3.8 kg, the BL 750 W is lighter than three-phase AC motors with the same power output. The BL 750 W measures just 130 mm in length, making it ideal for tight installation spaces. Furthermore, the motor is frequency converter compatible, allowing for easy integration into existing systems.

Unlike the BL 750 W, the new BL Stainless Steel 200 Watt is constructed entirely of stainless steel and boasts the highest protection rating of all brushless drives from Oriental Motor (IP67/IP69K). The BL Stainless Steel is resistant to high-pressure cleaning and steam/hot water cleaning, making it ideal for hygiene-critical applications. Oriental Motor offers the BL Stainless Steel with various gear ratios (10, 15, 20, 30, 50), enabling highly flexible system design.

For applications where a stainless steel version is not required, Oriental Motor's BL drive family offers additional models with output powers of 200 W, 300 W, and 400 W. These motors have an IP67 protection rating, meaning they are protected against both dust and temporary immersion in water. Their optimized design with a smooth surface makes them ideal for applications that, while not strictly hygienic, still require easy cleaning and robust construction. Examples include conveyor systems and packaging machines.
