With the INVEOR MC1, Kostal presents the next generation of decentralized drive technology. The “Build your own system” approach is aimed at users who want maximum freedom in configuring their drive solutions. The MC1 controls motors regardless of manufacturer, technology, or efficiency class—from asynchronous to PMSM to reluctance motors.

At the heart of the concept is the free choice of motor: Customers can select the motor that best suits their requirements and quickly combine it into a stand-alone system thanks to the motor-mounted design and automatic SELFCOM parameterization. This plug-and-play approach enables simple, efficient, and economical system design.

The INVEOR MC1 carries the proven DNA of the INVEOR family. The patented control method allows high-performance, sensorless motor control up to 250% overload. Functions such as vibration monitoring facilitate the introduction of predictive maintenance. Several variants – from basic applications to the MC104, which is specially optimized for intralogistics – ensure that customers only get the functions they really need. Pluggable connections, short replacement times, a microSD slot, and the high IP65 protection class ensure maximum availability.

Thanks to modular options, safety functions, fieldbuses, and I/O extensions can be retrofitted directly at the end customer's site. This reduces inventory and offers maximum flexibility. Optional Bluetooth, app operation, and numerous fieldbus interfaces, including MQTT, enable future-proof integration into Industry 4.0 environments.
