Hygienic and ultra-flat

Among the diverse Progress cable glands from Agro AG, part of the Kaiser Group, is the extremely low-profile Progress ultraFlat series.

Available in eight sizes for threads from M16x1.5 to M32x1.5 and cable diameters between 5 mm and 20.5 mm, these glands are characterized by their very low profile and tapered front ring. Their vandal-resistant design offers no point of attack for arbitrary damage by hand or with tools. Furthermore, the discreet, ultra-flat design is ideal for aesthetically demanding installations and makes it difficult for dirt to adhere.

In addition to the brass versions, which are approved for a temperature range of -40°C to +100°C, Agro also stocks eight model variants each for cleanroom applications and the food industry. These units, equipped with a front ring made of corrosion-resistant A2 steel and seals and sealing washers made of FDA-compliant FPM or FKM, withstand maximum temperatures up to +200°C. Agro also supplies the fittings in A4 stainless steel upon request. Furthermore, reliable EMC shielding can be achieved by inserting a contact sleeve, and the cable gland can be prepared for applications with cable protection tubing using a connecting sleeve.
