With the Industrial Powerise IPR40, Stabilus now offers customized electromechanical drives. The "Customized to Order" option allows customers to configure the successful actuators from Stabilus, the Koblenz-based motion control solutions specialist, precisely to their specific applications.

This means that the leading company with Industrial Powerise for tailgates and doors now offers these drives, perfected in the automotive sector, for industrial applications, starting from a batch size of one.

Designers who cannot find what they need in Stabilus' standard actuator range can now request a customized solution with short manufacturing and delivery times. Depending on the application, engineers from Stabilus or from the expert brands ACE Stoßdämpfer GmbH or HAHN Gasfedern GmbH will support customers from the design phase to commissioning.

The slim, compact IPR40 electromechanical spindle drives can be precisely customized to customer specifications in terms of connections, output forces, stroke lengths, and speeds. They require minimal installation space and are available with either 12 V or 24 V power supply and in a waterproof IP67 version. Furthermore, they are ideally suited for applications requiring the movement and control of heavier masses when combined with industrial gas springs from the Stabilus Group. Services accompanying these customized drive innovations include design, configuration, and commissioning, optionally on-site, including all settings and parameterization of the electronic control units (ECUs).

Following the market launch of the IPR40, Stabilus will extend the Customized to Order option to the entire family of electromechanical drives, including the IPR35, IPR35 Smart, and IPR40 Smart models.
