Intralogistics
LAPP presents connection solutions for modern intralogistics
Automation, digitalization, and the use of artificial intelligence are rapidly changing intralogistics. LogiMAT, taking place in Stuttgart from March 24 to 26, 2026, will showcase the technologies that will shape the future of material flow. This year, LAPP will be exhibiting in Hall 3, Booth A11, with a broad portfolio of innovative cable and connection solutions that increase efficiency, flexibility, and safety in intralogistics applications.
Efficient processes are a key factor in the performance of modern logistics systems. At the trade fair, LAPP, the Stuttgart-based global market leader for integrated solutions and branded products in the field of cable and connection technology, will be presenting various connection solutions for the requirements of intralogistics applications. These include cable assemblies, servo cables, and drag chain systems designed for continuous power and data transmission—even in environments subject to mechanical stress, high cycle rates, or changing movement profiles.
Connectivity as the foundation of modern intralogistics
Many intralogistics systems – from automated rack warehouses to driverless transport systems – rely on stable data communication. LAPP shows how modular and robust cabling concepts contribute to the reliable operation of these systems. These include solutions for different communication protocols as well as pre-assembled modules that can shorten installation times and minimize sources of error.
Digital transparency with the eKanban solution
Another focus is the eKanban solution, which enables digital monitoring of cable stocks. The cable management system helps companies to make material availability more transparent and to initiate maintenance or reordering processes at an early stage. This significantly reduces interruptions in production or logistics processes. The eKanban solution not only provides real-time information on the status of cables and components, but also integrates seamlessly into existing warehousing and production systems. As part of the digital transformation in intralogistics, it enables companies to reduce costs, remain productive throughout and optimize their processes in the long term.
Remote I/O devices for maximum flexibility
With the remote I/O devices of the UNITRONIC® ACCESS series, LAPP is expanding its range with components that simplify the integration of sensors and actuators. The devices are based on IO-Link technology and support various industrial protocols. This allows them to be integrated into different system architectures. Configuration via web interfaces enables clear parameterization and facilitates commissioning.
LAPP Harnessing Solutions: Complete package for intralogistics
The assembly solutions from the LAPP portfolio bundle various services related to the development and manufacture of connection systems. They include the areas of CABLES, SERVO, CHAIN, and Boxbuild, among others. The aim is to support companies in implementing individual requirements—from planning to series production.
At the LAPP booth in Hall 3, Booth A11, customers will have the opportunity to receive comprehensive advice on customized assembly solutions, the digital eKanban system, and components that are ideally suited to the industry.
