A clean solution

Heidrive's stainless steel motors were specifically developed for production environments with high demands on corrosion protection, cleanliness, and hygiene. These properties are essential, especially in the food and beverage industry. This series is also ideally suited for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

The motors are available with stainless steel connectors, in four different flange sizes (68, 88, 108, and 138 mm), and in various configurations. As this series is also part of the Heidrive modular system, numerous options are available for expansion.

Intelligent Sealing Concept

Heidrive stainless steel servomotors feature a sophisticated sealing concept that guarantees IP69K protection (according to ISO 20653 and EN 60529). This means that cleaning with a hot water pressure washer is no problem. Neither water nor foreign matter can penetrate the motor's interior. The surface design also prevents contaminants from adhering to the stainless steel housing. Furthermore, the dead-space-free shaft seal, as well as all seals and materials on the stainless steel surface, are FDA-compliant.

Surface material: Stainless steel

The stainless steel servomotor series is manufactured from a food-grade material, as it meets the highest hygiene requirements for the food industry. The products are therefore both food-safe and corrosion-resistant. The material is also neither absorbent nor toxic and does not release any unwanted odors, colors, or flavors into processed foods. In addition, the material is durable and maintenance-free. Another advantage of stainless steel is the possibility of Cleaning in Place (CIP). The motors can be cleaned directly in place without major disassembly, so germs, bacteria, and residues have no chance to accumulate.

Thanks to the sophisticated stainless steel design, no additional housing is required – the motor can be integrated directly into the machine. This saves space and significantly simplifies the system design.

Special feature: Stainless steel mating connector

A compact M17 mating connector made of stainless steel was also developed to match the innovative motor. This connector has the same properties as the motor series and is therefore ideally suited for demanding applications. The mating connector can be supplied with a cable made of food-grade material upon request.
