lifgo and lean SL rack and pinion gear units from Leantechnik are suitable for all applications in which precise synchronous positioning tasks must be carried out. Countless system variants can be designed with the gearboxes - even complex solutions are no problem.
Leantechnik has developed the lifgo product series especially for all applications in which heavy loads have to be positioned precisely and synchronously. Their quadruple roller guide ensures a very high positioning accuracy, which is required, among other things, for the efficient operation of handling systems and packaging plants. lifgo rack-and-pinion drives are available in various series with lifting forces from 2,000 to 15,900 N and lifting speeds of up to 3 m/s. In addition, there are versions for applications with long travels, with gripping and centring movements and for applications with a combination of gripping and centring movements as well as long travels. If low-noise running of the rack is desired, the lifgo SVZ gearbox variant is recommended.
Simple synchronous positioning tasks without transverse force absorption are best realised with the lean SL rack-and-pinion gear units. These rack and pinion screw jacks are suitable for all applications where a guide is already present. Lean SL rack and pinion gear units are available in various sizes and in two versions, can absorb lifting forces of 800 to 25,000 N and achieve lifting speeds of up to 0.6 m/s. In addition to the standard model, Leantechnik also manufactures a variant for gripping and centring movements. The extremely compact lean SL 5.m is available for applications with limited installation space.
The racks of the lifgo and lean SL gearboxes are hardened using the latest laser technology. In contrast to nitriding, laser hardening does not change the material, but only its structure. Laser-hardened racks are therefore significantly more stable than competitive products that are nitrided.
Engineers can put together a custom-fit rack and pinion gear for their application directly on the Leantechnik website. CAD models of numerous products are stored in the product configurator: They can be downloaded with just a few clicks and then quickly and easily integrated into the respective design.
