With Accon OPC Server UA, Delta Logic offers machine builders and plant operators powerful software for two-way communication in a Siemens S7 environment. The server supports the Open Platform Communications Unified Architecture (OPC UA) interface, which is increasingly becoming the standard in Industry 4.0. Accon-OPC-Server UA is specially developed for the requirements in a Siemens S7 environment. The software enables secure data transmission between OPC server and client as well as S7 PLCs, and does so at a previously unattainable speed. Accon-OPC-Server UA supports the current OPC UA specification 1.04 and has already been certified by the OPC Foundation, which continuously develops and distributes the standard, at the end of 2021.

The software is used wherever an OPC UA-compliant interface is required when accessing the data of an S7 controller, for example for server-client communication in production data acquisition (PDA), in the manufacturing execution system (MES) or in enterprise resource planning (ERP).
