Norm sufficient service for force sensors

Even with high-quality force transducers, environmental and operating influences can lead to signs of aging and a drift in the measured value output. For this reason, force sensors in applications where high measurement accuracy is required should be calibrated annually in accordance with EN ISO 376. The sensor manufacturer Inelta now also offers a corresponding calibration service to users of other makes.

The Inelta group of companies has its own accredited test laboratory certified in accordance with EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017. This enables the sensor specialist to deliver its force sensors with all required factory calibration certificates or calibration certificates and to perform recalibrations in-house. On request, Inelta now also calibrates and certifies third-party products with measuring ranges from 0.1 kN to 200 kN.

The reliability of a measurement solution depends not only on the use of robust sensor technology, but also on specific design features of the selected sensor models, their application-specific configuration and correct placement.
