Positive outlook

With almost 700 exhibitors, SPS 2022 is already registering a very high booking level at the early booking deadline. And according to organizer Mesago Messe Frankfurt, more interested exhibitors are registering every day. They confirm the great demand for participation in the leading trade fair for the international automation industry, which will be held in Nuremberg from 08 - 10 November 2022.

From start-up to key player, from full-range supplier to specialist, from hidden champion to global tech giant, the current registration list for SPS 2022 already features many well-known names in the industry. Phoenix Contact, Beckhoff Automation, ABB, B&R, Pepperl+Fuchs, Sick, Lenze, SEW-Eurodrive, Pilz, Rittal, Microsoft, SAP, Keyence or even Bosch Rexroth are just a few of them. "The anticipation for a physical SPS and the continuation of the successful trade fair is very high among all participants. Our phones are hardly standing still and the interest in being able to go back to face-to-face exchanges with customers at SPS is very high after a two-year break from the trade fair due to the pandemic. This spurs us on and we are working with full energy towards November and a successful SPS 2022," says Sylke Schulz-Metzner, Vice President SPS.

In addition to the three-day event in Nuremberg, this year's automation trade show concept also includes digital accompaniment. "The focus of SPS 2022 is clearly on the physical exhibition. Nevertheless, the last two years have shown that digital concepts can be an ideal addition to the preparation and follow-up of a trade fair: for a general overview of the industry, for initial discussions, for arranging appointments on site, the exchange of know-how or even the opportunity to find out about current topics in the industry," summarizes Martin Roschkowski, President Mesago Messe Frankfurt. In this way, the organizer wants to combine the positive effects of the real and digital worlds to offer participants the best possible trade fair experience. And even those who may not be able or allowed to travel will be given the opportunity to get in touch with the SPS community and exchange ideas through the digital accompaniment.
