Ideal working conditions

Operating units in industry must be easily accessible and operable for the worker at all times. This is very easy with the new family of floor-standing columns from Rose: The system offers a wide range of connection options and can be optimally adapted to the body size of the operating personnel. Rose will be presenting the product family for the first time at SPS from November 8 to 10, 2022 in Nuremberg.

The special feature of the new floor-standing columns is their modularity: ROSE equips them with a wide variety of connection options on request. These include, for example, VESA 100 and VESA 75 interfaces, the company's own flat panel adapter as well as its own support arm couplings or mounts for mobile end devices. For example, the user has the option of connecting tablets, panel PCs or control housings to the stand column as required. In addition, if required, the pedestals can be equipped with an extension box to accommodate and conveniently operate command devices.

The new family of stand columns has been developed from customer-specific requirements. It extends the existing Rose stand systems with Moterm I and Moterm II from ROSE, which can be easily and quickly adjusted in height via gas pressure springs with foot release. Moterm I consists of desk stands in rigid or manually adjustable versions with heights of 1038 mm and 1058 mm. All versions are available with two or four castor systems. The Moterm II series comes in three fixed heights (1059 mm, 1081 mm, 1128 mm) and two variable heights (1128 mm, 1149 mm). The models are available with floor-mounted pedestals or in a version with four casters and locking brake.

With the new family of stand columns, Rose now offers the industry even more flexibility: these systems can not only be manufactured in individual heights, but can also be equipped with numerous accessories. "We want to offer our customers maximum flexibility and ergonomics with this," says Tobias Büsching, HMI product manager at Rose. Designers therefore now have many more options available as standard with Rose stand systems than before. However, the company is still happy to develop customer-specific solutions on request - after all, this is a key unique selling point of the automation specialists from Porta Westfalica.
