Compact design, low power consumption

Expanding its line of electrically operated solenoid valves, Airtec now offers the 86-MVY series in versions with M8 electrical connection and LED status indicator, in addition to new BM-01 and BM-02 series valve variants.

Available as 5/2- and 5/3-way valves with momentary and latching manual overrides, the units are designed to operate with filtered, oil-free and dried compressed air in accordance with ISO 8573-1:2010, Class 7:2:4. They can be pressurized with working pressures up to 7 bar, achieve switching times of 20 ms (at 6 bar) and are characterized by their compact design and low power consumption of 1.3 W.

Depending on the device variant, the maximum flow rate is between 420 Nl/min and 490 Nl/min. The series, which is manufactured in an anodized aluminum housing, has an IP50 protection rating and is approved for use in the temperature range from 0 °C ... +50 °C. Airtec's range of accessories includes connection sockets with cables and type 86-PR base plates for setting up valve stations with up to 20 units.
