Omron's automation experts are now introducing new i4H Scara robot models that offer reliable electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection and are ideal for use in cleanrooms such as digital, automotive and semiconductor manufacturing.

Omron's i4H Scara robots are the perfect solution for industrial automation applications where heavy payloads are moved and transported. At the same time, the devices are particularly precise and fast. The new ESD models - ESD stands for Electrostatic Discharge - are designed to prevent the build-up of static electricity that can damage sensitive electronic components.

The cleanroom models meet the stringent requirements of environments that demand very low particle emissions. Examples can be found in the pharmaceutical, medical or semiconductor industries.

The new ESD and cleanroom robots also offer the proven i4H features. Users can easily program the robot as part of Omron's total industrial automation solutions. Omron's portfolio includes camera and image technology (vision), transport and material handling (motion), input, output and safety. All solutions are connected via EtherCAT. Omron's Sysmac software facilitates programming and deployment of the i4H robots.
