Locking bolts
Quickly and easily positioned
Heinrich Kipp Werk has expanded its extensive product range of locking bolts to include six new versions with rotary actuation. The practical operating parts enable fast adjustment and positioning of moving components. They are ideal for all applications in which a change in the locking position due to lateral forces must be prevented.
The six new locking pins are available with pin diameters of 5 mm and 7 mm. The practical feature of the positioning elements is that they allow a component to be quickly positioned and fixed by turning or sliding. Depending on the version, the locking pins also have an ON/OFF indicator or an ON/MID/OFF indicator. These markings significantly reduce the risk of incorrect operation.
The housing and the pins of the positioning elements are made of nickel-plated steel, the rotary heads of thermoplastic material. The locking pin of the locking bolts is conical; matching conical bushings made of steel are available as accessories in both bolt diameters.
Users can choose between a threaded and a flanged version of the locking pins. The threaded version is fastened with a lock nut, while the flanged model is fixed with three fastening screws.
The locking bolts with rotary actuation from KIPP are not only ideally suited for positioning on guide rails in mechanical engineering, but also for use in fixture construction and packaging systems, as well as for locking pull-outs or locking devices in vehicle technology.
