Sieb & Meyer improves support of the user

Proximity to the customer is part of the corporate philosophy at Sieb & Meyer, Lüneburg. Accordingly, the specialists for drive and control solutions translate the term "service" with the maximum support of the user in all phases of the project and beyond. Sieb & Meyer is currently restructuring its service activities for the drive electronics sector - for even better customer support.

Sieb & Meyer sees comprehensive service as an important pillar for the high satisfaction of its customers. This means that users can rely on competent support from Sieb & Meyer experts from the joint planning stage through to series production of the specific solution and beyond. They provide support during the development phase, from system design and simulation to commissioning - online or on site. Sieb & Meyer accompanies the series production phase with customer training and support in the event of problems or system modifications. And even after product discontinuation, the competent support of the Lüneburger assists with the integration of the successor products.

As of June 1, Sven Kapitza will take over full-time as group leader of the Sieb & Meyer service team and in this position will coordinate the best possible customer support. To date, the three-person service team has been part of the "Power Electronics" development area in terms of discipline. Kapitza previously worked for Sieb & Meyer for 12 years in the field of CNC hardware development. There, the expert was responsible for the PCD36 application solution. This is based on the MC2 motion controller and the SD2x series servo amplifiers and is used for scribing printed circuit boards. Kapitza's expertise is now fully available to the customer service department. Users can therefore rely on sound support for the SD2x, SD3, SD4x, FC2 and MC2 products.
