For small and micro drives
Faulhaber has another houseless, compact motion controller in its range, which is particularly suitable for integration in device construction and medical technology applications. With 36 V and 3 A (peak current 9 A), it covers the power range up to approx. 100 W and is suitable for DC motors with encoders, brushless drives or linear motors.
Only together with the appropriate motion controller do small and miniature motors become a reliable drive system. In addition to its extensive motor portfolio, the drive specialist Faulhaber therefore offers a wide range of motion controllers, which are designed in different performance classes with or without housing for a wide variety of applications. Now another houseless family member has been added: the MC3603, which with its compact dimensions is particularly suitable for integration in device construction and medical technology applications. With 36 V and 3 A (peak current 9 A), the new motion controller covers the medium power range up to approx. 100 W. It is suitable for "normal" DC motors with encoders, brushless drives and linear motors. I/O scope and encoder interfaces correspond to those of the entire family. USB, RS232, CANopen and EtherCAT are available for communication. The Motion Controller already contains the new firmware version "M". The latest update (version 6.9) of the Faulhaber Motion Manager is available for simple and convenient system setup.
EMC-compliant design for all Motion Controllers
With the new MC 3603, the Motion Controllers now cover the entire range of applications typical of small and miniature motors, from the postage-stamp-sized MC 3001 with 30 W and 1 A (peak current 2 A) to the largest family member, the MC 5010 with 10 A (peak current 30 A), which is designed for control cabinet mounting and has proven itself above all in industrial applications. All Motion Controllers comply with the current EMC regulations. The drive specialists have dealt with this complex issue in detail. Not only has the hardware been optimised accordingly, but the documentation has also been redesigned to provide the user with the best possible support in certifying their own device.
