Linear axis
Can be adjusted manually
Whether guiding, adjusting, positioning or moving uniformly, the requirements for linear motion sequences are as varied as the possible solutions. RK Rose+Krieger offers three small linear units especially for precise manual adjustment.
Whether manual or driven single-tube, twin-tube or profile axes, with roller or recirculating ball bearing guide, combined with toothed belt or spindle drive - the linear technology portfolio from RK Rose+Krieger for profile, linear and connection technology has the right linear unit for almost every application. The range includes linear motion components for occasional manual adjustment as well as for frequent movement and highly dynamic positioning in continuous operation. The small spindle-driven and manually adjustable linear axes of the RK Compact, RK LightUnit and PLM types are particularly suitable for use with low torques and light weights.
Weight-reduced single-tube linear axis
The spindle-driven linear axis RK LightUnit was developed for simple manual adjustment. It has an aluminium spindle and plastic plain bearings. These ensure a weight-reduced design so that the linear axis can be moved without great effort. An elastic plastic sealing lip protects the spindle. The single-tube linear axis is available in size 30 for a maximum stroke of up to 920 mm.
Flat short-stroke linear axis
The RK Compact is a flat short-stroke linear axis for the occasional adjustment of low loads with short strokes. It has an ideal ratio in terms of torque absorption and installation dimensions and is particularly suitable for small installation spaces thanks to its compact size. The RK Compact is available from stock in size 30 with standard strokes of 10, 20, 30 and 50 mm. The standard strokes for sizes 50, 80 and 120 are 25, 50, 75 and 100 mm. All units with these strokes are ready for delivery within 48 hours. "However, larger strokes of up to 130 mm (size 30) or 400 mm (all other sizes) are also available on request - these customised products simply require a little more time," says Tim Hallau, Product Manager Linear Technology at RK Rose+Krieger. As an option, the axis can also be supplied as a pure sliding guide without spindle drive.
Profile linear axis for light loads
The PLM linear unit in sizes 20 and 40x20 is available for customised strokes of up to 855 mm. Its maximum strokes are significantly longer than those of the RK Compact. The special feature of the small linear unit is the steel strip cover on the drive spindle to protect it from dirt. The linear axis is also available as a pure sliding guide without spindle drive.
