The spring plungers FSTIm and FSTImc can be individually adapted to different requirements. This gives companies tailor-made solutions for their plant automation. To make the design quick and easy, Schmalz offers a new online configurator with integrated error prevention.
Small spring plungers have proven themselves in the electronics industry, in the pharmaceutical industry and in clean room applications: thanks to the smooth-running spring, they handle very sensitive workpieces gently and, in combination with a flat suction cup, offer particularly high positioning accuracy. The compact dimensions fit even in narrow assembly lines. Due to the internal spring and the reduced hose connection - especially with the profile variant of the FSTImc - particle generation is reduced to a minimum.
Additional effect: significantly reduced installation and maintenance times. And even surfaces with height tolerances are no problem for these small powerhouses. Thanks to the smooth movement and compact design of the FSTImc spring plunger in cartridge design, delicate workpieces can be handled reliably.
Find the right spring plunger with just a few clicks
In order to speed up the design of automation systems and eliminate possible sources of error, Schmalz is launching a configurator for the FSTIm/FSTImc spring plungers. Designers and engineers save valuable time in development with the online tool. For example, you can not only choose between different plunger strokes, but also determine the type of vacuum connection, the design and type of suction cup or the threaded connection. The spring plungers support properties such as ESD in the respective variants. The complete solution of spring plungers including fasteners and suction cups can be implemented in the planning after configuration using a CAD model.
