The extensive portfolio of electrically operated valves from the pneumatics specialist Airtec includes the Namur-compliant KNX-55 series in stainless steel.

The Airtec Premium Line piston valves, designed for low temperatures down to -30 °C, are dimensioned for flow rates of 1.280, 1.060 or 1.050 Nl/min and can be subjected to a working pressure of 3…8 bar. In addition to monostable 3/2-way models, the manufacturer also offers mono- and bistable 5/2- and 5/3-way versions.

All units have a G1/4 NAMUR connection, are equipped with PU and NBR seals and are manufactured with protection class IP65. Housing and internal parts are made of stainless steel. The maximum permissible ambient temperature is +80 °C. KNX-55 valves protected according to ATEX specifications are also available as an option for use in potentially explosive areas in zones 1 and 2 as well as 21 and 22. All valves are delivered including mounting screws, coding pin and O-rings. The manufacturer stocks various connection sockets and solenoid coils in industry standard Form B as accessories.
