Fibox, manufacturer of highly robust plastic housings and wall-mounted control cabinets, ensures clarity in the housing sector with a variety of French doors, transparent and smoke-colored housing covers and special protective windows.
The manufacturer offers corresponding doors with transparent viewing windows for all 17 housing sizes in the weather- and corrosion-resistant ARCA IEC series, which are designed for demanding industrial environments and outdoor use. The ARCA variants, which are available in square housing formats of 300x300mm, 400x400mm and 500x500mm, are also available with a gray housing cover or window door.
For the Fibox MNX series, which has the most variants with 260 models, the manufacturer offers lids in gray or smoke-grey-transparent and, upon request, clear-transparent design. The NEO housings, tailored to the current requirements of industry, IoT and building technology, are available in three housing sizes: 320x220x150mm, 320x320x150mm and 420x320x150mm with a transparent or gray cover.
As a variable alternative to protect displays, switching and operating components from dirt, moisture and unauthorized access, Fibox has developed robust Instrument Protection Windows (PW) for installation across models. The polycarbonate protective windows, now available in five dimensions from 291x243mm to 503x451mm, can be quickly and easily mounted on a wide variety of switch housings and console systems.
The PW models consist of a frame with a continuous hinge and a transparent cover. Thanks to the large viewing area, the covered switching, display and control components can be easily observed at any time, even when closed. Due to the internal height of 85 mm, key switches, for example, are also safely protected. When the window is closed, an impact resistance of IK09 and protection class IP66 or NEMA 4X are achieved.
