Agro AG, which specializes in cable glands and is part of the Kaiser Group, is the first manufacturer to offer adapter plates suitable for rail transport. With the adapter plates, available in three versions, cables and wires can be routed quickly and safely from the outside to the inside of rail vehicles.

The bushings, which are suitable for all Progress cable glands and hose glands, have two grounding points and offer reliable protection against moisture, dust and vibrations. This enables cost-effective pre-assembly of cable harnesses that can be installed complete with the adapter plate on the roof or under the vehicle floor.

The components made of anodized aluminum with a special TPE seal achieve protection class IP68/69 and meet the highest fire protection requirements according to EN 45545-2 (HL3), EN 45545-3 (E30) and NFPA 130. Versions with four or five bushings are available in M25 and M32 format and a strain relief according to EN 62444, version A.

Openings that are not required are securely sealed with sealing caps. The compact, 248 x 98 x 20 mm adapter plates can be used in a temperature range of -50 to +105 ˚C. In addition to the stand-alone versions, Agro also produces special solutions with other implementation options upon request.
