Even more flexibility

In order to create individual corner connections in cable ducts, miters typically have to be sawn. The system provider RK Rose+Krieger takes a different approach here. The new corner connectors enable tailor-made and flexibly adaptable cable organization, which makes them particularly suitable for applications in the field of mechanical engineering and automation technology.

A large number of cables and supply lines are laid in modern machines and workplaces. The Blocan cable duct system, made of anodized aluminum, is characterized by its elegant design and well-thought-out details that make cable laying much easier. The newly introduced corner connectors further increase this functionality by enabling adaptable and user-friendly installation.

Flexibly adaptable corner connectors

RK Rose+Krieger has developed new corner connectors for the existing cable duct profiles KK-40x40 and KK-80x40. The connector is designed so that it can be mounted on the construction profile together with the cable duct, e.g. on machine frames and workstation systems. The corner connectors are designed as a versatile assembly that can be individually adapted to the respective application using flexibly distributable panels. This means that a wide variety of cable duct systems can be installed quickly and easily in a horizontal and/or vertical direction. The connection of the 80x40 and 40x40 systems can also be implemented flexibly and easily. The assembly consists of:

  • Corner connector base body
  • 5 panels that can be individually distributed on the base body
  • Cover caps in the sizes 40x40 mm and 80x40 mm
  • Complete fastening set.

The base of the corner connector can be quickly and easily mounted on the Blocan profiles. The twist-proof connection of the assembly using a hexagon socket screw can be made both on the front and along the length in the grooves.
