For flexible production and processing processes

In many sectors of the manufacturing, processing or packaging industry, the requirements for individualization, variety, reliability and continuity are constantly increasing. An important building block for the implementation of efficient processes in production plants are flexible rotary tables, which enable workpieces, materials and products of different properties and weights to be moved quickly and precisely. More torque for more efficient processes

Heavy loads from 500 kg to several tons sometimes have to be moved, rotated and positioned precisely in the shortest possible time in order to carry out further processing steps. "The state-of-the-art rotary tables are mechanically optimized precisely for these challenges, to generate the necessary forces and accelerations," reports Heyer. "Depending on the size, they have a torque that is up to 67 percent higher than components with a comparable design and enable the easy movement and precise alignment of axial loads of up to 13,000 kg for optimal production results."

The stronger acceleration also leads to a reduction in turning times and thus to an optimization of production cycles. For different areas of application, table tops of different sizes from 360 mm to 920 mm in diameter with a height of 190 mm to 360 mm are possible. A large output radius and several roller bolts with optimized emergency stop behavior ensure optimal power transmission and distribution, which prevents mechanical damage in the event of overload. The center passage, which has been enlarged by 25 percent, also makes it easier to pass media through. Overall, sophisticated and powerful drive technology such as the modern rotary tables of the "EDH+" series can significantly increase the vertical range of manufacture in manufacturing, processing and packaging systems, which enormously increases the profitability of the company.

Versatile, space-saving and low-maintenance

For the implementation of flexible production processes in which the movement sequence must be constantly changed due to new loads, positions or travel directions, flexible rotary tables enable the time- and space-saving production of different product variants on just one production line. This is made possible by the freely programmable servo motors, whereby the output angle and acceleration can be freely selected and specifically adapted to the load and application.

A space-saving installation of the servo motors and the compact design guarantee a high level of flexibility, so that the rotary tables are suitable for a wide range of applications. In addition, their design offers the possibility of optimizing existing production systems and using the available space efficiently. "With the same load data, it is possible to exchange the old rotary table for a smaller "EDH+" standard rotary table, which saves companies space and energy," emphasizes Heyer. “It is also possible to use the same size turntable, so that a shorter cycle time is achieved and the process chain runs faster.”

When designing all turntables and the other broad portfolio of drive, conveyor and lifting technology, Expert-Tünkers relies on proven quality with long-lasting components.
