Red Lion introduces the new N-Tron NT116 Unmanaged Industrial Ethernet Switch. It is designed for industrial use in mission-critical applications under harsh conditions.

The N-Tron NT116 Unmanaged Ethernet Switch offers high reliability and performance in data acquisition, Ethernet I/O and process control. The compact device with 16 high-performance copper ports (10/100BaseTX RJ45) offers a robust industrial metal housing with high shock and vibration tolerance. All ports are equipped with integrated ESD and surge protection. In addition, users benefit from an exceptional MTBF of 1.2 million hours in a slim, space-saving design, ready for use at temperatures from -40°C to 85°C. For robust network support, the N-Tron® NT116 supports data transmission at full line speed with a throughput of up to 3.2 Gb/s. The device uses store-and-forward technology and supports full and half duplex operation. Two 10-49 VDC power inputs are available for redundancy.

The N-Tron NT116 is the evolution of the Red Lion 116TX Unmanaged Industrial Ethernet Switch. In addition to IEEE 802.3 compliance and marine, rail and rolling stock certifications, the new switch has UL certification for ordinary and hazardous locations, as well as ATEX and IECEx certification.

The new switch makes it easier to collect mission-critical performance data.
