Everything from a single source: Efficient linear technology solutions for industrial automation

Rollon offers one of the most extensive portfolios of linear technology products as the basis for efficient and reliable automation concepts. At SPS 2024, the Rollon Group will present its broad product range and demonstrate the latest innovations based on well-founded expertise in system solutions. The trade fair highlights will include the new H-Bot portal system, the extremely compact TLS telescopic system and the AXNR oval system.

Automation without linear technology? Inconceivable. 99 percent of all automation systems contain linear actuators, linear guide rails and/or telescopic rails. High-quality components, innovative solutions, and cost-effective concepts are essential in boosting competitiveness. As one of the world’s leading suppliers of linear technology, Rollon is familiar with the exact requirements of customers, and implements effective linear technology solutions for numerous industrial automation applications. The Group comprises the established brand names Rollon, Nadella, Shuton-Ipiranga, Durbal, Chiavette Unificate and Rosa Sistemi under one roof and therefore offers unique development, production and application expertise. Visitors to SPS 2024 in Nuremberg will have the opportunity to see this for themselves. Rollon will present the company’s extensive range of products from 12 to 14 November in Hall 3, Booth 321.

NEW: H-Bot – An innovative and extremely versatile portal system

The new H-Bot system was specially developed by Rollon for applications requiring precision and reliability in a compact design. It features an innovative design with a single-belt concept and a double motor on the X axis to ensure well-coordinated and precise motions in a very compact unit. Eliminating a motor on the Y axis significantly reduces the weight of moving mass, which reduces vibrations and enables high dynamics. The belt-driven linear actuators with linear ball bearing guides achieve a maximum stroke of 2,500 mm on the X axis and 1,500 mm on the Y axis. Speeds of up to 5 m/s and accelerations of up to 50 m/s² with repeatability of ±0.1 mm are possible in both axis directions. The H-Bot is ideal for handling loads weighing up to 10 kg – for example in the pharmaceutical industry, food production, lab automation and 3D printing, as well as assembly, sorting and transfer processes.

Telescopic System TLS: Maximum productivity in a compact design

The TLS telescopic linear system comprises 2- and 3-stage solutions for automation in confined spaces. The use of economical aluminum extruded sections, in combination with high-rigidity linear ball bearing guides and a rack-and-pinion drive, achieves optimal performance with no compromises in cost-effectiveness. The TLS system is suitable for both vertical installation (limited ceiling height) and horizontal installation (limited space to the side) and is designed for strokes of up to 3,000 mm and loads weighing up to 450 kg. Dual-stroke variants are also available. The new telescopic system is ideal for applications in which the length of axis travel exceeds the distance between the machine and the ceiling or wall. The versatile system is ideal for use in machine loading or assembly automation, for example, and is designed for seamless integration in multi-axis configurations.

AXNR oval system: An ideal solution for circular applications

The trade fair portfolio will also include the AXNR oval system, marketed under the Nadella brand as a flexible and adaptable system for precise circular applications. The circular rail system features excellent load-bearing capacity, rigidity and precision while achieving smooth, even and quiet motions combined with pin-point positioning. An aluminum alloy base that is connected directly to the gearbox

reduces the footprint, and the modular design allows fast implementation of custom modifications and special versions.
