New player in the successful team: the tried-and-tested locking bolts with remote actuation from Kipp are getting some clever support. The new Bowden cable distributor from the standard and operating part specialists from Sulz am Neckar brings three Bowden cables together, allowing two bolts to be controlled in parallel via a common actuating element. Alternatively, one locking bolt can be operated via two different Bowden cables.

Kipp has been offering its customers an extensive range of locking pins with a remote release function since 2020. In addition to stainless steel bolts and Bowden cables, the portfolio also includes wire ropes, cable sleeves, end sleeves and set screws as well as a screw nipple clamp with grub screw. All components are optimally matched to each other so that the respective operating task can be solved perfectly.

Locking bolts with remote actuation facilitate operation in inaccessible installation spaces and prove their worth wherever remote actuation is required for ergonomic or safety reasons. Distances of up to 5 m can be bridged with Bowden cables from KIPP. This saves time and improves the efficiency of work processes.

Locking pins from Kipp prove their worth in swivel or rotary devices or for stop positioning in machine, furniture and special vehicle construction, for example. Machine parts can only be brought into a new position and then securely locked again once the bolt has been disengaged. This prevents lateral forces from changing the locking position. Machine parts can also be positioned and locked from a distance using the Bowden cable. If the element in question is heavy, the use of two locking bolts in combination with a Bowden cable distributor and a central control element makes handling easier and safer.

One size for all strokes and bolt diameters

The Bowden cable distributor is available in a size that is suitable for all strokes and locking pin sizes with remote actuation. The housing and slide are made of reinforced polyamide. The scope of delivery includes all the necessary components for quick and easy installation. The Bowden cables (not included) are available in standard lengths of one, three or five meters and can be shortened to the desired length.
