Frequency converters
The SFU 0303 universal frequency converter was one of the highlights at BMR at the SPS
The SPS in Nuremberg recently closed its doors. BMR elektrischer und elektronischer Gerätebau GmbH has been an exhibitor here for years. This year, the specialist for individual drive technology presented itself with a newly established management team, proven team spirit, new visions and many proven products. The SFU 0303 universal frequency converter was the particular focus of interest.
With 46 years of experience and expertise in the development and production of frequency inverters, BMR has established a strong position for itself on the international markets. The SFU 0303 is the power solution for all types of spindles in the BMR product range. The main features include the variable DC link voltage for an optimal spindle voltage, which is essential for ideal control and smooth running. Added to this is the fact that the spindle heats up extremely little, which means that the use of sinusoidal filters or output chokes can be dispensed with regularly in the specific application on site; a further cost saving. In addition, the device enables the operation of low-voltage spindles. Integrated 200-watt braking chopper resistor, automatic spindle braking when the power is disconnected during operation, pulse blocking and optional Safe Torque Off are a matter of course. The variable inverter is also available as a tabletop device.
“In addition to these features, this frequency inverter can easily replace existing old devices without additional effort. This is a modern retrofit that saves costs, brings existing processing centers, such as grinding and milling machines, up to date in a cost-effective manner and helps to reduce CO2 emissions,” says Managing Director Susanne Brittling.
This fits in with the sustainability of all BMR products, to which the family-owned company has been committed for decades, and the comprehensive technical support with which customers are assisted.
