Connection to the Reflective Memory world

IBA AG is introducing the new "ibaFOB-R" network card for connecting the IBA system to the Reflective Memory world. This expands the process connectivity of the iba system and enables deterministic data acquisition in real time.

IBA AG is expanding its product portfolio with the new "ibaFOB-R" network card. With this PCIe plug-in card, control systems based on Reflective Memory can be seamlessly integrated into the iba system. Reflective Memory allows data to be synchronized and exchanged in real time between multiple systems and is used in particular in complex, distributed control systems and simulations in industrial environments.

In conjunction with ibaPDA (from version 8.8), the ibaFOB-R card enables data acquisition in this environment and simplifies deterministic and reliable data communication in real time. To acquire data in ibaPDA via Reflective Memory, only the ibaPDA-Interface-Reflective-Memory interface needs to be activated.

This means that ibaFOB-R can be flexibly integrated into existing and new systems, thereby extending the process connectivity of the iba system.
