Extended voltage range and additional brake option

For the decentralized servo drive system AMP8000 from Beckhoff, the AMP8620 supply module and the AMP8805 distribution module are now also available with an extended voltage range. For the decentralized servo drive AMP80xx there is also another option for controlling the holding brake.

The AMP8620-2005-0x10 supply module is suitable for single- or three-phase voltage connection with 1 x 120…240 V AC and up to 8 A DC intermediate circuit output current or with 3 x 200…480 V AC and a maximum of 20 A DC intermediate circuit output current. The AMP8805-1010-0000 distribution module, which is suitable for all AMP8620 supply modules, now offers an input voltage range of 155 to 848 V DC.

The decentralized servo drive AMP80xx-xxx2 is equipped with a holding brake and an M8 connection for its manual control. This makes it possible to control the holding brake during mechanical installation or for service purposes if the main control cannot do this.
