Maximum flexibility for designers

Just in time for the Hannover Messe, a new series of high-precision rack and pinion gears from Leantechnik is launching. The size 5.2 gears offer designers a high degree of flexibility and help them reduce development costs. Visitors to the booth can also experience the diverse advantages of Leantechnik's innovative lifting and positioning systems firsthand.

The lifgo and lean SL rack and pinion gears in size 5.2 can be used in a load range from 0 to 1,030 kg, thus closing the gap between the existing sizes 5.1 (up to approximately 400 kg) and 5.3 (up to approximately 1,600 kg). With the introduction of the new size, the optimal gear design is now available for every lifting force range. Designers will therefore have even more freedom in the design of their machines or systems in the future. In addition, the 5.2 gear units can also reduce manufacturing costs for lifting and positioning systems in the load range from 0 kg to 1000 kg, as the rack and pinion gear units are precisely tailored to these applications. In addition to the 5.2 size, all other lifgo and lean SL rack and pinion gear units will be on display in Hanover – including the extremely precise lifgo hp with a positioning accuracy of up to 2 µm.

Lifting and Positioning Systems of all types

Ready-to-install complete systems are another focus at the Leantechnik booth at the Hannover Messe. Under the name Leantechnik Systems, the automation specialists manufacture customized lifting and positioning systems in a wide variety of designs. Under the name Leantechnik Gantry, complex sorting systems, transfer systems, and gantry systems are developed, for example. Leantechnik P&P systems are an alternative to robots – for example, in the pharmaceutical industry. Leantechnik LIFT systems are used as lifting tables or lifting columns in many applications in manufacturing and logistics.

Leantechnik shuttle systems transport materials or components quickly and reliably, while Leantechnik positioning systems place them precisely at their destination.

All Leantechnik Systems systems are available either as partially assembled or fully functional versions. The lifting/positioning systems are precisely tailored to the requirements of the respective application and are suitable for a wide variety of industries: They are used in the food industry, as well as in car manufacturing and medical technology applications.

Secure Axle Support

Leantechnik also offers the ideal solution for securing systems during repairs or inspections with the ASS locking device. The ASS prevents the gravity-loaded axes from accidentally lowering or falling. In combination with a lifgo or lean SL gearbox, the ASS can also be used as a positioning unit for a fixed value.

To secure system components during operation, Leantechnik offers the SHB stepless holding brake. The SHB was designed for use on lifgoÒ rack and pinion drives and, thanks to its fail-safe principle, can also be used as a safety brake. Leantechnik supplies the holding brake in 6-bar and 20-bar versions, as well as in three sizes.
