Linear actuators
Optimal performance
Wittenstein cyber motor presents the cyber force line linear actuator series. The actuators, with a spindle integrated into the motor, are modularly configurable and impress with their efficiency, precision, and ease of integration. Users also benefit from reduced total cost of ownership and reduced maintenance requirements throughout their entire service life.
The new electromechanical linear actuator series is available in stroke lengths of 100 mm, 200 mm, 300 mm, and 400 mm, as well as in various configurations – including versions for high speeds up to 1,250 m/s or for high forces up to 25 kN and masses up to 2.5 t. In addition to the currently presented versions with a 105 mm flange, further sizes are already in the planning stages.
The Cyber force line is the result of Wittenstein cyber motor's many years of expertise in the development of customized linear actuators. The new series is designed as a space-optimized, ready-to-install plug-and-play solution with high power density and dynamic performance. Thanks to the modular concept, the functionality of each linear actuator in the Cyber Force line can be optimally tailored to the required performance of applications. Different stroke lengths and application-optimized designs are possible, including various encoder variants, optional holding brakes and anti-rotation devices, as well as customized actuator color finishes.
Configurability ideal for a wide range of applications
A wide range of applications benefit from the high modularity of the new Cyber Force line, the exceptional positioning and repeatability accuracy, and the energy-efficient efficiency of the actuators. The innovative spindle actuators are used in metalworking for the positioning of tools and machine tables, for tool advancement, for handling and transporting workpieces, in machines for bending, punching, welding, or riveting, as well as for demanding joining and press-fitting processes. In plastics processing, they are used as servo actuators for tool and mold adjustment, in thermoforming processes, and as highly compact ejector, injector, clamp, and dispensing drives in injection molding systems.
In machines for filling and packaging food and beverages, the spindle actuators have proven their worth, among other things, for the automatic adjustment of different packaging formats, in pick-and-place systems, for volume control in filling and dispensing processes, and for packaging closure.
Thanks to their versatility, power density, and ease of integration, the new linear actuators are capable of defining a new optimum for a wide variety of processes, thus increasing their performance and efficiency.
