When high-performance thermal cutting machines cut through metal in fractions of a second, extreme temperatures, fine dust, and hot waste are generated. Smooth removal of these residues is essential to maintaining maximum productivity. This is precisely where the new WBCV apron conveyor from Kabelschlepp comes in: With its innovative "double-layer technology," the conveyor system meets all the requirements of modern high-performance lasers.
With the increasing performance of oxy-fuel cutting machines, plasma cutting machines, and laser cutting machines, conventional conveyor belts are increasingly reaching their limits. Kabelschlepp is responding to this challenge with a completely new design. The WBCV apron conveyor combines thermal and mechanical stability through a two-layer construction. Heat shields on the top ensure optimal heat dissipation and can be easily replaced when worn. The supporting substructure guarantees maximum stability – even with large belt widths of up to 2.5 meters. Thanks to this design, the belt can operate reliably even under the toughest conditions and contributes to uninterrupted production of laser cutting machines.

- High thermal stability thanks to cleverly decoupled heat shields (cover layer) – thermal expansion is possible without stress. Due to the imbricated structure of the belt, even large hot parts cause only minimal heat input.
