With the new Quasi Absolute Encoder (QAE) software feature, Dunkermotoren presents an intelligent and cost-effective solution for precise position determination – without any need for homing, additional components, or batteries.

The QAE automatically saves the current position in the event of a power failure and reliably restores it upon restart. This eliminates the otherwise necessary homing – a decisive advantage for applications where time, space, and reliability are critical.

Maximum Integration – Minimal Complexity

The QAE is fully compatible with all Dunkermotoren dPro and dMove co-drives. In combination with a dPro motor, the system achieves a single-turn resolution of 4096 cpr. Even the smallest deviations after a power failure are automatically corrected – ideal for self-locking applications such as gearboxes with holding brakes.
