Compact electric motor sets new performance benchmark
With the new BG95x120 dPro, Dunkermotoren is expanding its product portfolio in the BG95 series with a new length, breaking its own records.
The BG95x120 dPro is currently the most powerful motor, delivering peak power of 4.4 kW at a battery voltage of just 48 VDC. Combined with the inline gear solutions (planetary gears), this makes it the perfect drive with a minimal cross-section (flange surface) for mobile applications.
Areas of application include, for example, AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles) or AMRs (Autonomous Mobile Robots). The BG95x120 dPro is the perfect companion for increased flexibility in transport robotics. Its strengths are particularly evident in battery-powered applications: The high power density at just 48 VDC makes it ideal for mobile systems where energy efficiency and compact design are crucial, whether in autonomous vehicles or mobile assistance systems. Transporting heavy loads is no longer a problem.
Mobile lifts for confined spaces are also available, replacing ladders in schools, offices, industrial buildings, and residential buildings. The BG95x120 dPro transports people safely and quickly to work sites in the event and trade fair construction, facility management, industry and production sectors, as well as in construction and trades.
The BG95x120 dPro can also replace the hydraulic cylinder by generating the movement through the electric motor. Mobile hydraulic applications in agricultural engineering or construction machinery are conceivable. The electric unit can be coupled to various machines, which then, for example, take over the tipping function of a trailer.
The dPro version makes connection very easy: whether using CANopen or the Ethernet interfaces Profinet, EtherCAT, or Ethernet/IP. The BG95x120 dPro can be integrated into the existing system and then programmed and controlled via Drive Assistant 5 and/or MotionCode.
For increased safety, the certified STO (Save Torque Off) function is available as standard on all BG95x120 dPro. With STO, the motor can be shut down reliably and without torque. A sudden obstacle in the path of an AGV/AMR no longer poses a danger. At the same time, the logic voltage is not interrupted. This eliminates the need for time-consuming re-homing after restarting.
