Application spectrum expanded

The cost-effective SeGMo-Positioning GEL 6009 from Lenord+Bauer can now be used for an even wider range of applications – thanks to optional IP 65 protection, even in applications where, for example, cleaning processes involve water.

The actuator is also available in a version with 10 Nm torque, thus also covering tasks that require more power. It can be integrated into the system control system either via IO-Link or via the Industrial Ethernet fieldbus interfaces EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP, and Profinet.

The compact, battery-free actuator with IP 54 or IP 65 protection is equipped with a 14 mm blind hollow shaft, which can be flexibly adapted to smaller diameters using reducing sleeves. This increases the number of common parts, improves availability, and simplifies inventory management for the machine manufacturer.

The electrically maintenance-free operation ensures high reliability and low life cycle costs. Battery changes and the resulting unplanned machine downtimes are eliminated.
