Variable all-rounder for shielded cables

Agro AG, part of the Kaiser Group, offers Progress easyConnect Multi, a versatile, easy-to-install solution for quickly and easily inserting shielded cables, even those with different cross-sections, into enclosures using a single EMC cable gland with secure shield termination.

The connection system, which can be installed in just a few simple steps, is suitable for cables of various diameters with interrupted or partially exposed, continued shielding braid. The cables remain rotatable, sliding, and removable during the installation process. The nickel-plated brass cable glands are available with standard bores and, upon request, with customized sealing inserts. A contact spring made of stainless steel 1.4310, which protects the shielding braid, ensures powerful clamping and guarantees excellent conduction values.

The easyConnect Multi system features strain relief in accordance with DIN EN 62444 Type A and, in the standard version, is suitable for a temperature range of -60°C to +100°C. When using FPM sealing inserts, the temperature range increases to -40°C to +200°C.
