Safety functions such as Safe Torque Off (STO), Safe Stop (SS1/SS2), Safely Limited Speed (SLS), Safe Operating Stop (SOS) and Safe Direction (SDI) are embedded via a single cable and are certified according to IEC 61508 and IEC 61800-5-2. Classification according to SIL 3 and PL e confirms high reliability for safety-critical systems.

Flexible integration and easy commissioning

The MR-J5 servo is suitable for various servo motors, including rotary, linear and direct drive types. Daisy-chain and single-cable topologies reduce installation effort and facilitate expansion in machine networks. Quick-Tune enables automatic fine tuning in just a few seconds. One-touch tuning, machine resonance suppression and Advanced Vibration Suppression Control II up to 8,000 Hz ensure stable movements and significantly reduce commissioning time.

Diagnostics and predictive maintenance

The system has integrated predictive maintenance tools based on Maisart AI technology. These tools enable condition-based monitoring of mechanical components, alarms and anomaly detection, as well as preventive maintenance, all of which can be carried out directly from the servo amplifier. This minimises downtime and increases system availability.
